Senior Director of Research and Education, Callen-Lorde Community Health Center

Dr. Radix is the senior director of research and education at the Callen-Lorde Community Health Center in NYC and a clinical associate professor of medicine at New York University. Dr. Radix is a recognized expert in transgender medicine and has contributed to multiple national and international guidelines for the care of transgender and gender diverse people. Dr. Radix is board certified in infectious disease and internal medicine and completed a PhD in epidemiology at Columbia University. Dr. Radix is currently co-chair of the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) Standards of Care 8 working group. His research focuses on STI/HIV risk, HIV prevention and health outcomes in transgender populations, including the first community-based cohort study of trans people in the USA.
