Christina Payne RN, MSN, OCN

Christina Payne is the Oncology Nurse Navigation and Survivorship Program Manager at UCHealth in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She oversees a growing team of nurse navigators and medical oncology nurses. In 2016, she completed her Master's degree in nursing with an emphasis in Case Management from American Sentinel University. Christina has over 20 years of nursing experience, with 12 ofthose years specializing in oncology. In 2017 she was the recipient of the Ted T. Lewis MD Award for "Excellence in Professional Nursing", awarded by the El Paso County, Colorado Medical Society. As a breast cancer survivor herself, Christina has a passion for expanding survivorship services within the UCHealth Cancer Center. In the midst of working with her nurses and survivorship, Christina steps into her interest for collecting navigation metrics. She has spearheaded a project within the UCHealth System that created a documentation encounter within the EMR specifically for oncology nurse navigators.
