Karolina Faysman, RN, MSN, AOCNP, NDP(c), is the Lead Hematology/Oncology/Transplant Nurse Practitioner III at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center. Additionally, she is an Assistant Professor/Instructor at UCLA’s Graduate School of Nursing. Ms. Faysman is a registered nurse and an advanced oncology nurse practitioner. She is a sub-investigator in multiple clinical trials researching chronic myelogenous leukemia, acute myeloid leukemia, acute lymphoblastic leukemia, multiple myeloma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and more. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), the Nurse Practitioner’s Society, and the American Association of Registered Nurses and has spoken for local and national ONS, Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse, Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology, and Advanced Practice Providers Oncology Summits.

Ms. Faysman earned her master’s degree in nursing from UCLA School of Nursing. She will begin a doctor of nursing practice program at Azusa Pacific University in January 2021.
