Katie Ozuna LMSW, OSW-C, OPN-CG

Katie is a licensed master social worker, oncology navigator, and young adult caregiver. Following her husband’s cancer treatment for Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, Katie became an advocate for young adult patients and caregivers; speaking, writing, and volunteering her time to increase awareness of their unique challenges. In 2014, Katie became a survivorship navigator in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with the Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at Medical City Healthcare. In this role, she provides support to patients and their families, leads research on survivor/caregiver needs, and develops and implements psychosocial programming.
