Mary Heery MSN, AOCNS, CBCN, APRN

Mary Heery, APRN, is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at the Smilow Breast Health Center at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, Connecticut a part of Nuvance Health. Her current position as a Breast Health Specialist focuses on education, support, co-navigates patients through the breast cancer care continuum and provides the Survivorship Care Plans at the conclusion of treatment.

Mary empowers patients to be a partner in treatment decisions by providing individually tailored cancer information based upon diagnosis.

She received her diploma in nursing from Mt. Carmel School of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio, her bachelor of science in nursing from Dominican College in Orangeburg, NY and her masters of science in nursing from Yale University. Mary has over 20 years of oncology nursing experience from major NYC (including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center) and Connecticut hospitals. She is a certified as an Advanced Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist.
