Melissa Eades RT (R)(M), BSN, OPN-CG

I started my medical career in General Radiology in 1995. I achieved a registry in Mammography in 1998. I was promoted to a Lead Breast Biopsy Technologist in 2004, a position that I fulfilled for over ten years. During that time, I also supported our navigation team working closely with our nurse navigator for patients who were diagnosed with breast cancer. This experience inspired me to seek my BSN and become an official part of the navigation team at my hospital. I completed my BSN and became an RN in early 2020. I am currently an oncology nurse navigator for breast patients and my primary focus is the High Risk Patient. I am participating in development of our high risk breast program and also support our cancer patients. I am looking forward to a long career in navigation.
