Sandra Olvera MPH, MSN, FNP-BC

Sandra Olvera is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Gilbert, Arizona. She completed her Master’s in Public Health at the University of Arizona in 1997. After working in clinical research with Merck & Co. Inc. she returned to school to complete her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing at the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in Baltimore, Maryland. She worked as an oncology nurse at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Johns Hopkins Hospital before completing a scholarship service commitment in primary care in an underserved area of Miami, Florida. In 2020, she completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. Her areas of interest are in the fields of integrative oncology and cancer survivorship
