Sarah has been a Registered Nurse for Banner Health since 2009. She completed her Masters Degree in 2017 through Grand Canyon University. She is currently a Survivorship Coordinator at the James M. Cox Foundation Center for Cancer Prevention and Integrative Oncology at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Gilbert, Arizona. In this role she focuses on creating and delivering survivorship care plans for patients who have completed treatment for breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, lung, and melanoma cancers. Along with her team a compliance rate of greater than 75% survivorship care plan completion for breast cancer patients was achieved last year. Sarah plays an integral role in survivorship patient education as well as survivorship program development and operations throughout her center.

Prior to her current role she worked in the Intensive Care Unit focusing on the management of severe sepsis and continuous renal replacement therapy. She later managed a Multi-Organized Service Unit that included a continuum of care from medical, progressive care, to intensive care specializing in treating the critically ill oncology population, specifically acute leukemia and stem cell transplant populations.

Sarah was a 2021 Nurses Day Award recipient for her Contributions to the Profession. Sarah is known for being energetic and enthusiastically supporting and motivating others. She focuses to create a positive impact on patients. She is actively involved in giving back to the community through toy, food, and water drives.
