Valerie Guzman CMA

Patient Navigation Manager at Urology Austin. As Manager, Valerie oversees the Overactive Bladder, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) and Prostate Cancer/Advanced Prostate Cancer navigation programs. She started in 2008 as a Medical Assistant after receiving my Medical Assistant Certification from Western Technical College in El Paso.

In 2019, Valerie was promoted to the role of Prostate Cancer Patient Navigator, and in November 2021, was promoted to Manager over all patient navigation. Along with her duties, she continues to assist men who have localized prostate cancer or prostate cancer that has recurred post primary treatment such as surgery or radiation. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, exercising, running and going to church.
